Yael Wand

Midnight Sun (1999)The contemporary folk trio of Perpetuum - Yael Wand, Daniel Lindenberger and Christina Zaenker - was a regular feature on many stages in Vancouver between 1997-2000. In 1998, the trio began working with Sam Ryan to produce a nine-track album, Midnight Sun. In 1999, even before the album was released, the title track was awarded second place in the folk category of the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound's (now the Art Institute of Vancouver) song-writing competition. The album featured the trio's unique instrumental arrangements and signature heavenly harmonies: Yael on vocals and guitar, Daniel on vocals, guitar, water-bottle drum and piano, and Christina on vocals and cello.
